CHARLESTON, IL | 2017 Chevrolet 1500 SilveradoMay 8, 2026I previously had my rear brake system replaced on my 2017 Chevy Silverado. Or so I thought. Turns out they did not do as I asked and did not replace both calipers saying that one of them was good. However, the so called good one apparently was not good causing the brake to heat up and squeak. They replaced everything correctly the second time and the brakes work fine now. If they had done as I asked the first time I wouldn’t have had to make a second trip. I think part of the problem is that you have to talk to different people for making appointments and then delivering the vehicle and your previous request gets lost in the shuffle.Richard G
